Alec Davis
Reformed black-hat. Professional operator. Founder, investor, and lifelong researcher who happens to be very hard to surprise.
The FBI learned my name before I was old enough to drive.
I was expelled twice before high school — once in elementary, once in middle school — both times for the same thing: getting into systems I was told I couldn't. Somewhere in there came a formal, not-so-voluntary sit-down with federal agents about certain activity in the cyber world. I'll leave it there.
I was eleven when the obsession started and it has never once let go. I am twenty-nine now, and the only thing that changed is which side of the contract I sign.
I research for a living and for a compulsion. Every day is a day to learn something — a protocol, a market, a jurisdiction, a human weakness. My mind wanders and it wonders, and I have stopped fighting it. That restlessness is the product.
I have been studying offensive security without a break since the sixth grade. That is not a credential on a wall; it is eighteen years of pattern recognition that lets me see the move before it's made.
Black-hat taught me how things really break. White-hat is what I do with it. The skills are identical; the intent is the opposite. I use them to protect the people and institutions that hire me — and I only use them legally, under a Safe Harbor agreement and an NDA, every single time.
I am a founder, an investor, and a philanthropist at heart. All of it points at one thing I intend to finish.
The work today.
Hacking, professionally. Bug bounties, retained red teams, blue-team hardening. Companies hire me to attack them before someone worse does, and to rebuild what I break stronger than it was.
Business consulting. Corporate and offshore structuring, licensing, M&A integration, turnaround. The architecture a company stands on.
Political consulting. Data, narrative, opposition intelligence, and mobilization for campaigns and causes that intend to win.
Software engineering. Polyglot, low-level, distributed. The hard builds most teams won't take.
Non-profit & philanthropy. Dual-track structures, endowments, planned giving. Missions built to outlast their founders.

- Every security engagement under Safe Harbor
- Legal and ethical work only — no exceptions
- Encrypted communication preferred and expected
- Total discretion; your name stays yours
- Small budgets to nine-figure mandates, same standard

USE PGP FOR ANYTHING SENSITIVE. If you email me, encrypt it. This matters most on public providers — Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, AOL, Zoho, Mail.com. Every mail provider can read plaintext sitting on their servers. Unless you run your own mail or encrypt the message, assume it is read. Encrypt the body and attach your public key so I can reply in kind.

I only do legal, ethical hacking — under a Safe Harbor contract and NDA.
