Custom API, SDK & Decentralized Protocol Development

The interfaces other developers build on — designed to be a pleasure to use and hard to misuse.

The Mandate

An API is a promise to every developer who builds on it. Design it well and an ecosystem grows on top; design it carelessly and you spend years maintaining the mistakes while your users route around you. The interface is the product, even when it's invisible to end users.

I design and build APIs, SDKs, and protocols that are clean to use, hard to misuse, and stable enough to depend on — including the harder world of decentralized protocols, where the design has to be right the first time because changing it later means coordinating everyone at once.

Engagement Scope
  • API design, development, and versioning strategy
  • SDK and client-library development across languages
  • Decentralized and peer-to-peer protocol design
  • Protocol specification and reference implementation
  • Developer-experience and documentation design
  • Authentication, rate-limiting, and abuse resistance
  • Backward compatibility and evolution strategy
  • Interoperability and standards alignment
How I Work

I design the interface before the implementation, from the consumer's point of view, because an API's users are its real stakeholders. Protocols are specified precisely and implemented as a clean reference, with versioning and compatibility planned so the thing can evolve without breaking its ecosystem.

Every engagement runs under a signed NDA and, where testing is involved, a Safe Harbor agreement. Legal and ethical, start to finish.

What You Receive
  1. A clean, documented API or protocol specification
  2. Reference implementation and SDKs for key languages
  3. A versioning and compatibility strategy
Questions
Can you design a decentralized protocol?+

Yes. Decentralized and peer-to-peer protocol design — specification, incentive and security considerations, and reference implementation — is a core capability.

Do you cover developer documentation too?+

Yes. Developer experience, including documentation and SDKs, is treated as part of the product, because an interface no one can figure out doesn't get adopted.
